Test: sending *test-msg* to gentoo-newbies via news://news.gmane.org

Hi,

This msg is not about gentoo :-O

There is a newsserver news://news.gmane.org (infos on
http://www.gmane.org), which converts this mailing list into a
newsgroup. I prefer newsreaders for discussions.

In principle one can post to the newsgroup and the msg should also
appear on the mailing list. There are some precautions against
spamming. I simply want to see, whether posting really works as
described on Gmane's website.

You _need_NOT_ reply to this msg, since I also receive the mailing
list. I'll see the result myself;-))
