 initialize iptables in Gentoo. The included iptables script
 should be adequate for what you want to do. Just make the
 changes as indicated.

In addition to these instructions, you also have to setup your
 kernel options for iptables. You can view this link for how I
 set up mine.

And of course, you need to emerge iptables. :)
