RE: boot from cd

Well, if I completely reformatted my hard drives (I don't want winxp
anymore and do want to switch back to win2k (until I'm fully ready (and
get my family ready (if it ever happens)) to switch over to linux))
could I install gentoo first, on a say 10gb partition (as well as the
swap, etc.) and then win2k on the rest?  Or would I have the same
problem with win2k even if I do it like that?
