I had a look at the kernel config from all these sites. It says that I
should be using the eepro100 driver for the built in ethernet card.
However whenever I modprobe using this module it just says that it cannot
find the device. There are no messages in dmesg. The ethernet card does
work using the 1.4 install CD. How can I tell which driver it is using? I
did an lsmod but it didn't list any ethernet modules that were loaded.

BTW - I did try using the kernel config file available from:
http://dag.wieers.com/howto/thinkpad/a20m/.config-tp-a20m-2.4.9
but that didn't help either :(
