offline downloading...

Hi,
  My home box in not on fat pipe, but my friends's is.
  My home machine has a little linux and a ethernet card and a crossover
  cable and i've access to a laptop.
  so in effect i can download anything at my friends house and get it
  to my home.


  My Q is : how to get list of source tgz to download for basic 
  use-profile and kde-profile. my friend is not running gentoo.
