In the same way you did the installation--that is, boot from the CD,
make the /mnt/gentoo directory, mount your Gentoo partition in
/mnt/gentoo, mount your /boot partition on /mnt/gentoo/boot then do the
chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash as you did during installation.
