I have a better question, Why have a boot partition at all? The size it needs is only #du -sh /boot/ 2.3M /boot two meg with one old image and one new image.... the only reason is if you run two types of Linux dists This is how My fileserver system is set up (NO X system) /dev/hda2 / 510M /dev/hda3 /usr 2.0G /dev/hda4 /var 10G (the rest of hda space of you don't want to add some more to the LVM system) /dev/LVM/home (two 40Gb) /home 75G // Martin
