actually, i may not need it now after all. originally part of the problem was that twm displayed Pan painfully slow over the internet (via vnc) to my home machine. continuing to 'tinker' i discovered that icewm is significantly faster for displaying apps (like Pan and any other kde/gnome app). just thought I'd share that little personal discovery in case there was someone interested. cheers, -N --- n cookit <[email protected]> wrote: > > while at work on windows I use tightvnc to connect > to the vncserver on my gentoo linux box at home.
