reiserfs on ppc

as per the handbook: Unfortunately we still have some issues with ReiserFS on ppc. We do not encourage people to use this filesystem. what problems does ppc have with reiserfs? does anybody use it? its normally all i use on x86 boxes. should i go with ext3? i was really hoping for the performance gains in reiser. -- Nick Smith a.k.a.
