Server-class mobo with lots of PCI slots *or* VLAN-supporting (802.1q) NIC?

Can anyone here recommend either:

*) A server-grade motherboard with *lots* of PCI slots, or
*) A NIC that supports VLAN (802.1Q)

Of course, either should be Linux- (hence, Gentoo-) compatible.
