I took a quick peek and found this.


Symbol: DRM_TTM [=y]
Symbol: DRM_TTM_HELPER [=y]


It seems it is on by default.  I don't recall ever hearing of this 
driver.  I'm not sure what this means tho.  Does it mean this isn't the 
problem or am I missing some other piece somewhere????  I guess when I 
reboot, that may shed some more light on this problem.

Why would Nvidia break the console tho?????
