In most cases yes, although there are some conflicting modules you have 
to enable selectively to stop them fighting over the same hardware.  I 
am thinking of out-of-kernel nvidia Vs in-kernel nouveau, or some old 
wireless card drivers.

In the case of AMDGPU there is no conflict which will affect your nvidia 
driver or hardware.
