Well, I wanted it to only apply to gentoo.org addresses not all email.  
Most of my emails are html but this list prefers text only. This was 
easy in Seamonkey but not so in Thunderbird.  The best I can do is 
Sending Format set to Automatic.  It goes by what I received I think.

I guess 72 will work ok.  Is it doing the wrapping on your end or is 
your email client wrapping it?  I won't be surprised if your client is 
wrapping it.  In my sent box, it is still wide.

Sad they removed that.  That worked great in Seamonkey.  It made 
everybody happy.  :-D
