I don=E2=80=99t know of any reasons to prefer one over the other (mostly due=
 to ignorance), but I=E2=80=99ve been running Gentoo on an XFS disk happily f=
or months now (including over all the kernel upgrades) sans probl=C3=A8me.=20=
