Missing quotation in make.conf

Hi all,

I am running into a snag with the gentoo installation with my make.conf.  I
have installed gentoo several times, but usually able to saulve this one,
but this time it seems I am missing something.  I am following the
handbook, but when trying to install the cpu-flags package, portage clame
that there is a missing quotation in my make.conf file..  I have checked my
settings several times and even tried editing things to no avale.  All my
settings have closing quotations as they should so what gives.  What I am
not seeing is anything show what is missing quotes. Any ideas on this one.

As a side note, is there an easy way to get speech in the iso cli?  I know
there is a way to add boot options but you have to edit the boot setting
and not being able to see the screen this could be hard,.  Perhaps an
opsion in the boot menu could be added to boot with speech.  This feature
is available in arch linux.  Is this something that has been considered?

Thanks for my long winded message and hopefully someone has an answer to
mymake.conf issue.
