In my case it is elogviewer which I think is in the Gentoo repository.
I suspect the person that maintains it isn't able to update it right now
but it will be soon. That person may be on vacation, hurt or sick, or
something. As far as I know it is a official Gentoo tool.
For me, it was just easier to remove the package and I'll try to install
it again later. Hopefully that will be soon. I don't use it very often
anyway. Sometimes if a package is doing something weird, I may go check
the logs for it to see if there is some message there. It's kinda rare
tho.
