aggressive OOM in recent kernel

Hello,

Has anybody else noticed a more aggressive out of memory behavior in 
recent kernels (7.x)?

My system has 64Gb of RAM, Ryzen 9 12-core, I normally rebuilt the 
system with -j24 while browsing or doing other activities without issues 
but recently I noticed the kernel staring to kill browser tabs and the 
syslog confirming several OOMs.

It is not a bad memory issue, I ran memtest86+ for 18 hours without issues.

I am not looking for a solution, first I'd like somebody to confirm I am 
not the only one.
