Re: update through live iso?

In my experience updating firmware from a live image, or even a chroot,
works fine.

I like Praveen's PXE image the best (previously linked by Greg Vyskocil)
but unfortunately it's not officially supported, so it doesn't get updated
often. Here's a blog post with some details about how it's made though:
