Anyone here have experience modifying the BMC firmware on PE2900-III?

I've decided not to get a C2100 and just upgrade a good 'old PE2900-III.
As part of the effort, I'm swapping out the fans with quieter fans. I've
done this before on PE2900-I and II servers with a lot of success.
However, it seems like the BMC firmware for the PE2900-III is a little
different and the same fans I had previously used in the gen-1 and gen-2
PE2900 are now running slower; which triggers the low RPM threshold. I
previously read about how one can change the BMC firmware thresholds here:

The strange thing is that for the Gen-III PE2900, the list of sensors
seem short. It appears to only mention 4 of 6 internal 92mm fans, and
the last 2 are probably (guessing) the PSU fans. In previous gen-II, I
think they listed all 6 internal 92mm fans and 2 PSU fans. This seems a
bit odd, so I was wondering if anyone else here has used the tool above
to modify the BMC firmware thresholds on a PE2900-III and might be able
to shed some light on this? Does fan 5 and 6 re-use one of the
thresholds set for fan 1-4? It seems like any of the fans 1-6 can
trigger the low threshold, so I want to be sure I am setting the new
threshold for all 6 fans, not just 4 of them, which would not solve the
problem.
