Hi Stephen,

The srvadmin-install.sh script is available as part of Dell Systems Management Tools and Documentation DVD ISO 8.3.0 or OS specific OMSA package which are posted on the web soon. This script is not available as part of YUM installs.
As I said, this issue is happening due to storage vendor drivers on unsupported Operating Systems.

Regards
Chandra

Where is this srvadmin-install.sh script?

I'm aware SciLinux is not on your list of "supported" OS's but it's based directly off of RHEL which is, and I know OMSA works on SciLinux because it's working on a few dozen other servers around here quite well. I have just a handful of systems that the latest OMSA 8.3 update is not behaving as expected.

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for providing the details on this issue.

I would like to update you that, SciLinux is not part of the Operating System support matrix for OMSA. This issue has been observed in another instance due to storage vendor drivers which are not supporting on this Operating system. Could you please try the following steps to resolve this issue? with this approach you will not be able to monitor/manage the Storage related components and rest of the OMSA features will work.

1. Uninstall OMSA

2. Install OMSA using srvadmin-install.sh script. Please do not select the Storage component while selecting the components.

Kindly let us know if you need any info on this.

Regards

Chandra
