FYI, I started turning things around, making the NI library look like linux-gpib, instead of the other way around. Although not directly related to the gpib-linux library itself, it might be interesting for this list. The instrument-control package of Octave (open source Matlab clone) depends on the linux-gpib library. I had to work around the official NI library, so it looks like the linux-gpib library/header filenames, etc. (btw octave also provides a minimal cygwin environment.). Also I could not get the NI provided gcc-library itself to work with gcc, so I generated a wrapper library myself. https://wiki.octave.org/Instrument_control_package#Windows_.28cygwin.29 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Linux-gpib-general mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-gpib-general
