Rebuilding docs from source?

Hi,
the doc/ folder for the userspace tools already has prebuilt pdf/html 
documentation. Is there a way to re-build it from source, and if so, how?
I stared at the makefile for a while but I wasn't able to find a target 
that would let me do that.
