some question about srx55tc under rh9

My notebook works fine under rh9 except some small
questions.
1. I wanna use my jogdial and I downloaded sjog 0.
6.But I can`t install the spicdriver(in fact Make
complained a error said"spicdriver_fops isn`t
known"),and 
the whole project cannot configure too(complained no
GTK but I`ve installed Gnome).what can i do  ?
2. anyone can tell me how to let acpi work?hope in
detail,i`m a really newbie.
