RAM upgrade r600hfpd

Hallo, i have got a sony PCG-R600hfpd and i am allover very happy with it. But i think the 256MB RAM is not enough to work nicely with linux and Gnome. So i thought about upgrading the RAM. But my Problem is, that i does not know, which Type of RAM my notebook use and how/where to open the notebook to install it. So my question: Does anybody know something about upgrading the RAM of the r600 notebook and which type of RAM i need to upgrade?? Or does anybody has got a link/website where i can find more infos about it??? Much thanks for your help and attention! Andreas Krings PS: I think the R600hfpd is the european modell of one sony PCG R505xxx model, if this helps!
