This screen failure thing is becomming a bit frightening. My business partner just got a GRX-700 series, and the screen died 3 days after it arrived. My 570 is running just fine (knock on wood). The cost of a screen replacement would be unfortunate, but having seen his machine I would still go for the replacement because his 700 series lacks the jogdial and did not test out significantly faster. Somebody mentioned jacking a 2.4ghz chip into a 500 series and having it work. Thats probably what I will do when the price gets right. My warranty is over anyway. Hope my screen holds up, cuz I'm never going back below 1600x1200 again. -- John Andersen - NORCOM http://www.norcomsoftware.com/
