It appears there is only one event triggered for both
open and close of the lid in Sonys.
The last state is remembered in /var/lib/acpi/lid_state
But if you boot or shutdown with the lid in a different state
then it was on last shutdown or booted(respectivly) the
content of this file will be wrong.
I occasionally issue a shutdown command and close
the lid while it does its shutdown routine. BAD IDEA.
Because I have to open it again to power on (due to
location of power button). This makes for the lid state
inconsistancy.
Removing /var/lib/acpi/lid_state fixes the problem.
