USB floppy works with 2.4.21

For anyone who may care,

As of 2.4.21 my USB floppy drive (Sony MPF82E) works perfectly.  My
previous kernel 2.4.21-pre4 and all before it would lock the USB bus up
when usb-storage was loaded.

I have usb-storage as a module, load it, plug in the drive and mount
/dev/sdb

/proc/bus/usb/devices says this:
