I have tried SuSE 8.0, 8.1, and Mandrake 9.1 and all lock my systems when I try to use the alsa sound system with the via686 soundcard in the vaio. I recently tried 4front tech. drivers to no avail either. Jay Freyensee __________________________________________________________________ McAfee VirusScan Online from the Netscape Network.
