Nah, there's no flux used in mobo circuit soldering any more, and hasn't
been for over 20 years.  Solder is done by machines using a special solder
(often called silver-solder, and sometimes it actually contains silver) that
does not require flux.  Flux is too corrosive for use on micro circuits.
Mobos are squeeky clean when new.
