-- Glad everyone had a good laugh. So, I'm trying to decide. This laptop is obviously getting worse. Losing Power is now a daily thing. Should I go ahead and push it until either A) I leave on my trip or B) it won't start up for anything.. Or, C) should I send it in immediately? I really want to hold on till my trip since I have a bunch of work I need to finish off on it. I believe that is what I'm going to do.. and suspect that if B comes to fruition then at the very least they can't argue that it's not happening for whatever reason and will be forced to actually fix it ;) Whereas I know that if they test it in windows and for some reason it doesn't just happen while it's sitting there on for them, they're going to think it's in my head and do nothing. I started thinking about it, it's actually acting like something got extremely overheated and was fried -- I've had desktops exhibit crashing behavior because of extended overheating in the past and replacing the CPU fixed the problem. Hmm, so, unless someone says "don't do it!" I think pushing this laptop of mine to the complete breaking point in respects to this weird poweroff is the right idea -- it'll force Sony to fix it.
