If its a membrane type keyboard (as opposed to discrete switches) then
no, its unlikely cleaning will help.  I've tried dozens of times and only
succeeded once or twice.  (This was with full sized desktop keyboars
which might not be as well sealed as a laptop keyboard or, OTOH they
might be better sealed.

As for gaining access,  look on the bottom for screws with tiny arrows
pointing at them, and REMEMBER where everything came from.

Usually a couple of those near the back will release th grill.

Its usually not too hard.  Then see where the ribbon cable from
the keyboard pluggs in.  The plastic do-hicky (sorry to toss these
technical terms at you) into which the ribbon plugs has a top slider
that slides up and down.  Slide it up to release its grip on the
ribbon.
