It was installed system wide, not specifically for the list; but I didn't explicitly exclude the list. Because the e-mail addresses for the list are displayed all over, spambots pick them up and try to send spam to the list; all of this so far has been caught before it gets to the list since I only allow member postings. The non-member queue was getting tons of spam, so SpamAssassin helps me this way. It lets me find the folks that didn't realize they needed to be subscribed to post, and better manage that queue.
