Has someone installed a linux distribution (preference: Mandrake or
SuSE) on a picturebook and can give some hints on =93how-to=94?=20

I am a complete newby when it comes to linux and try to install it
besides my Windows ME. I have managed to get over the portioning part
and run the install from my third party pcmcia external CD drive with
diskettes. The problem with the Mandrake beta version is which selection
I should make for mouse, display and network to begin with? Some
websites can be found about how to manually overcome the trouble the
1024x480 display resolution. The predominance seems to be Redhat. It
looks like one needs to try to manually install these drivers=85uusch =
what
a work, I am trying to read through the websites but they don=92t seem =
to
answer my questions accurately.=20

Thanks for an answer.=20
