RedHat 9 on a Sony Vaio PCG-FX170

Thanks Lawrence for the response. I was thinking that myself.
Can you recommend any good free diagnostics that I can run. I don't
think my laptop came with any to speak of.
I did recently (3 months ago) purchase an additional 256meg of memory to
add to the 128meg on board. I wonder if something is not right with
that.
