touchpad issues on non-505

Howdy, Yep, mine is a GRX5P - not a 505! :) I never use it on battery, but was on a plane recently and gave it a shot. I confirmed this on the ground later so it wasn't the altitude. The pad was sort of 'centering' when you took your finger off it, back to the last place you just moved it from. So assuming the pointer was in the middle of the screen, and you moved it to the upper right and took your finger off the touchpad, the cursor would bounce back about 2/3 of the way to its origin. It was 3 steps forward, 2 steps back .. so I could get things done, they just took a bit longer. The problem went away after about 2-3 minutes, and never exhibited any problems with a USB mouse. I can only seem to make the unit do this on battery power, and it was always from a cold boot. Anyone else seen this? BTW: using these 16.1" screened laptops in economy class on a plane is rather difficult :) Ryan
