I can't recall if it hid USB from the BIOS options. You may need to change the boot from UEFI to Legacy - I've just looked at my L440 BIOS and I see it's now set as: Startup: UEFI/Legacy Boot - [Both] -- UEFI/Legacy Boot Priority [Legacy First] and Boot Order Lock [Disabled] (Enabled would lock the boot order) There's a Lenovo page on USB boot sequence here: https://support.lenovo.com/nz/en/solutions/ht118361 and a Microsoft page on how to disable Secure Boot here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/disabling-secure-boot HTH cr -- The linux-thinkpad mailing list home page is at: http://mailman.linux-thinkpad.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-thinkpad
