I had the same problem. It is solved on this page: https://askubuntu.com/questions/655011/windows-10-upgrade-kills-grub-and-boot-repair-doesnt-help (Use the Answer under 132) Best, Esben -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: Linux-Thinkpad <[email protected]> På vegne af Uwe Brauer Sendt: 15. september 2020 17:22 Til: [email protected] Emne: [ltp] installed ubuntu 20.04 on thinkpad X1 8th but does not boot. Hi This seems quite a bit of an ordeal to install Ubuntu together with windows 10 (in the past I have always deleted Windows 10) I managed finally to shrink the partition run the installer chose ext4 and the swap partion after finishing the installation I reboot, but the boot manager does offer Ubuntu but directly passed to windows. I am puzzled. Any idea please Regards Uwe Brauer -- The linux-thinkpad mailing list home page is at: http://mailman.linux-thinkpad.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-thinkpad -- The linux-thinkpad mailing list home page is at: http://mailman.linux-thinkpad.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-thinkpad
