T470 multi-battery, discharging order

Hi thinkpaddies. I have a T470 and it has two batteries, a built-in one
and a removable one. Until recently when it was running on battery it
would use the removable one first, and only when that went to 0% switch
to the built-in one. Then recently the built-in one stopped working, so
I bought a replacement and swapped it out. Now the the discharging order
is reversed! It uses the built-in battery first and the removable one
second. This is less than ideal because it will reduce the life of the
built-in battery faster and that’s obviously more of a pain to replace,
and also the built-in battery has less total power, so using it first
witll put more stress on bother batteries. Anyone know if there's some
way of changing the order in which batteries are used?
