Try disabling ACPI as a boot parameter. I have an M45-S355 and if ACPI is on, then the internal wireless is not recocignized. _____ From: Sunil Kumar [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 12:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [tlinux-users:07306] Debian Linux on M55-S325 Hi, I am a newbie to linux and want to install linux on my toshiba M55 S325 laptop. I was successful in installing the minal version(netinstall) of debian 3.0. It did not recognise the ethernet card of the laptop and i could not find the driver for that card in the listing that the installer provided. can any one please let me know where can i find the driver for that card or any other driver which works on it. Also how to enable WI-FI and use it, whats the driver to use? With regards Sunil
