No, if there is no need for 3d accel, all you need is some sort of generic
video support in your kernel, and that should suffice... And you should
really follow the suggestion, that way you have both 3d accel and suspend.
All it would require you to do is edit a text file, and it will
automagically unload that module when you suspend and reload it back after
you come out, try it out, see how it works...
