Hi Amit,

Yes, I do have DVD RW drive but have not tried to write dvd under linux.

BTW, Today,  i removed Linux and i have installed FreeBSD6.0 on the
laptop. I have installed XFCE4 desktop on it. Everything seems to work
fine except for the Marvell ethernet. I will try to write a dvd on it
and let you know.
