I referred to patches for the acpi thing in my model. The battery status wasnt shown in the meter. With the patches(one for the kernel, and one for the patch itself) now the battery status is shown. I suspect that those are the same ones you used right? Or does your battery status worked just fine with no patches or tweaks?
