I don't know, but maybe 'dmidecode' may help identifying your model.

Celeron does not support speedstep.  You may want to check that the
p4-clockmod driver work, but it won't give you extra battery lifes
though.  The only solution IMHO is to verify that at least the acpi
power saving stuff in the idle loop work: cat /proc/acpi/processor/*/power

Anyway, I think the battery is 2 or 3 years old (am I correct?) and
therefore is dying.  You should consider to buy a new one.
