David, please don't quote the whole message of the sender. It makes it
impossible to follow if you do so. Quote only necessary stuff, or don't

John, just as Cesar just said, you could try one of the ways I described
on my website to fix that dsdt-issues with the smart battery system. The
site is located at www.minet.uni-jena.de/~ferdy . Another possiblity is
to have a look at the suse support database, which may help solving
common questions concerning suse. If it helps with sdb i can't tell you,
since i am using gentoo (www.gentoo.org) too. But you may want to risk a
view at http://portal.suse.de/sdb/en/index.html .
