Hi you all
I'm Victor, newbie to this mailing-list (not at all, because I've been
receiving mails for about a month). However, this is the first message I
write.
I'm running Ubuntu Breezy (5.10) under a Satellite M40-145. Just after
installing, the bluetooth, sd card reader, video card and both lan cards
didn't work. At this time I've been able to set up all but sd card reader.
However, I'm nearly to set it up -I've found a controller I think it may
work, but I didn't try it yet, I don't have time enough-.
I didn't try the pcmcia, but I think it may work. The firewire doesn't work
because I've disabled it due to enabling lan cards and all stuff. I think
the modem doesn't work neither, and neither do the hotkeys and the fnKeys.
However, I know there is a patch which enables those keys by recompiling
kernel, thing I don't want to do yet.

So, to sum up:

OS: Ubuntu Breezy (5.10)
Model: Satellite M40-145 (Laptop)

hardware working:
 - Video card
 - Ethernet card
 - Wifi card
 - Bluetooth
 - Sound card

Hardware not working:
 - Sd card reader
 - Firewire

Doubting:
 - Pcmcia?

Others:
- Hotkeys and FnKeys don't work

Well, hope to hear soon from you all, getting advices on how to configure
that stuff I didn't set up yet. Furthermore, ask me whatever you want, and
if I can help (thing that I doubt :D), I'll be pleased to answer.
