I also have a satellite L10 SP105, and it works pretty fine with ubuntu
breezy.  I had to use the kernel patch(and the patch for the patch) to get
battery status, and ndiswrapper for the wireless mini pci.  The modem is
pending, but I dont use it so it can wait.  I can recommend ubuntu for this
laptop model.
