Fedora Core 5 and acpi.

Who's checked this out in detail?  I installed Core 5 a few days ago on a Toshiba satellite 5105 S501 (with brand new hard drive, no leftovers).  

/proc/acpi has several new entries and most have something in them -- not just stubs.  For instance, there's /proc/acpi/ac_adaptor which shows state: on-line (when I'm plugged in).  

Of interest to this thread is an entry /proc/acpi/toshiba which has files for [fan, keys, lcd, version, video] in it.  

Seems to me that someone could put together a small TCL program that would provide a usable front end to the manipulable of these.  Ideas?
