Everything worked well as I used this apt-get > command before. But now I can't find toshiba utilities program on gnome > menu. I restarted gnome-panel but doesn't work. restarted computer but > again the same. the toshutilities (version 2.0.1) are only command line tools, they never will be visible in gnomes or kde's panel. You must start them from a shell. These utilities contain also a little graphical application, which shows battery status, etc : wmtuxtime (this is also the command to start it).
