When the temperature is less than 50°C (122°F) the cooler is OFF, but over 50°C (122°C) the cooler is ON (but /proc/acpi/fan/fan0/state show OFF)... and if temperature is more than 60°C (140°F) the cooler to increase the speed. I fell the air going by spendthrift, but /proc/acpi/fan/fan0/state always show "OFF". I don't have other FAN in /proc/acpi/fan and fnfxd don't work in my laptop Toshiba M45-S355 Regards, Renato S.
