[tlinux-users:07956] TouchPAD and Ktoshiba

Reading here about KToshiba, i really need that some one answer this 
question: 

My notebook has the PhoenixBIOS, this means that i can't have the FN+F* 
working? or any of the FN working on linux? 

about the touchPAD, that was a second function (controls the volume of the 
sound) is not going to work too? exist some program that can make it work?
